1. Purpose

This policy sets out how Onnova manages environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters in its own operations, its relationships and its advisory work.

2. Scope

3. Environment

Onnova commits to: (a) measure and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of its operations, including business travel, digital services and purchased goods and services; (b) favour virtual delivery and, where travel is necessary, choose lower-carbon options; (c) minimise waste, avoid single-use plastics and prioritise reuse and recycling; (d) consider environmental performance when selecting suppliers and partners; and (e) integrate climate and nature-related risks and opportunities into client work where they are material to the decision.

4. Social

Onnova commits to: (a) provide an inclusive, respectful workplace with equal opportunity and zero tolerance of discrimination, harassment and bullying; (b) protect the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone who works with Onnova; (c) respect internationally recognised human rights, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and expect the same of its suppliers and partners; (d) build ESG capability through continuous learning; and (e) protect personal and client data in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

5. Governance

Onnova commits to: (a) act with integrity, independence and professional objectivity; (b) maintain zero tolerance of bribery, corruption, fraud and money laundering; (c) identify and manage conflicts of interest throughout every engagement; (d) ensure that sustainability statements in its communications and deliverables are accurate, evidence-based and free from greenwashing; and (e) use AI and data analytics responsibly, transparently and with human oversight.

6. Responsibilities

The Managing Partner owns this policy and oversees its implementation. Everyone working for or on behalf of Onnova is responsible for applying it in their day-to-day work.

7. Monitoring and review

Onnova monitors progress against these commitments and communicates relevant developments to stakeholders. This policy is reviewed at least annually, or sooner if Onnova's activities or applicable regulatory requirements change.

8. Concerns and complaints

Anyone may raise a concern or complaint about this policy or about Onnova's environmental, social or governance conduct by writing to kbo@onnova.co.uk. Concerns are handled confidentially, acknowledged promptly and investigated fairly. No one raising a concern in good faith will face retaliation.
